Star Commander Bengisu is what you might call “spiritua, but not religious.l” She engages in frequent and intense meditation practice and has a calm demeanor, bordering on boring. She rarely frowns but also rarely smiles.

Bengisu’s disposition has perhaps allowed Conor Drummond to take a more strong leadership position among the clan forces as she is not nearly so aggressive in her positions. However, many of the other clanners still look to her rather than Drummond for leadership, preferring her modest style to his bombastics.

Interestingly, Bengisu and Conor are actually sibkin and are still close, sometimes intimate, with one another despite their obvious differences in personality and disposition. Some joke about how bad Conor would be, if Bengisu wasn’t around to “take the edge off.”
