Reggie was born into a family that had a long history of infantry service on Hall, dating back to its days in the Tikonov Free Republic. They later transferred their allegiance to the Federated Commonwealth and then the Republic of the Sphere. Following in his family history, Reggie joined the Republic military expecting to find a solid spot in an infantry unit. He was as surprised as anyone else when testing showed mech piloting competency. After completing his training, he was assigned to the Triarii Protectors where he had a successful career before being recruited to the Knights.
Reggie is intensely loyal to those in his inner circle and so there was no hesitation in his decision to follow Gideon to Irece, although he had no personal stake in the Nova Cats.
Reggie is a big man who can intimidate with little effort. He has learned to use this to his benefit when necessary, but is a naturally gregarious and friendly individual who would rather defuse a situation with laughter than confrontation.
