Soterios is a freeborn clan warrior who tested into the postion. He was initially assigned a second line position, but a successful trial of grievance allowed him to move in to a front-line unit where he eventually rose to a Star Commander.

In his younger days, Soterios could be a hothead. He was quite ready to take offense against any trueborn arrogant enough to slander him and resolve it in a circle of equals. Age has mellowed Soterios considerably. He now allows insults like those from Conor Drummond to roll off his back. Before the events of Irece, he knew that his days in a front line unit were numbered which had brought some peace to his mind.

Although the technical equal of Conor and Bengisu, Soterious is the clear third choice for Clan leadership due to his freebirth origin.
